About Women Cell – Caussanel College of Arts and Science

The Women Cell of Caussanel College of Arts and Science is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women students. It serves as a platform to promote gender equality, enhance awareness of women’s rights, and encourage personal and professional growth.

The Cell organizes various programs such as awareness campaigns, workshops, seminars, and training sessions on self-defense, health, hygiene, leadership, and legal rights. These initiatives aim to build confidence, develop skills, and equip women with the knowledge needed to face challenges in society.

The Women Cell also plays an important role in addressing concerns related to gender discrimination and ensuring a respectful campus atmosphere. By fostering a culture of dignity, equality, and mutual respect, it empowers women to become confident individuals and responsible contributors to society.

To create awareness on women’s rights, gender equality, and legal provisions for women’s safety and empowerment.
To provide a supportive platform for women to express their concerns and seek guidance.
To organize workshops, seminars, and training programs on self-defense, leadership, and personal development.
To promote mental well-being, health, and hygiene among women students.
To encourage active participation of women in academic, cultural, and leadership activities.
To address issues related to gender discrimination and ensure a respectful and inclusive campus atmosphere.

Special Programme on Women Empowerment

The Women’s Cell of Caussanel College of Arts and Science, Muthupettai, organized a special programme on Women Empowerment on 2nd September 2025 with the objective of inspiring and encouraging students to develop confidence, leadership qualities, and a sense of equality. The session highlighted the significant role of women in society and motivated students to strive for excellence with courage, determination, and self-belief. The programme proved to be informative and motivational, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting women empowerment and holistic student development.
