About YRC – Caussanel College of Arts and Science

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) of Caussanel College of Arts and Science is a dynamic student movement committed to promoting humanitarian values and community service. Rooted in the principles of the Red Cross, the unit aims to develop a sense of compassion, responsibility, and leadership among students.

YRC actively engages volunteers in a wide range of activities including health and hygiene awareness programs, first aid training, blood donation drives, disaster preparedness initiatives, and community outreach services. These efforts help students gain practical knowledge while contributing meaningfully to society.

The YRC unit serves as a platform for students to grow as socially responsible individuals who are ready to respond to the needs of the community. Through active participation, volunteers cultivate empathy, teamwork, and a strong commitment to humanitarian service, making a positive and lasting impact on society.

VISION

To inspire and empower youth to become compassionate leaders dedicated to humanitarian service, health promotion, and community welfare, guided by the principles of humanity, impartiality, and voluntary service.

MISSION

  • To promote humanitarian values and the spirit of service among students.
  • To encourage voluntary blood donation and support life-saving initiatives.
  • To create awareness on health, hygiene, disaster preparedness, and first aid.
